About the role:
We’re looking for a proactive and enthusiastic Onboarding Specialist to ensure seamless onboarding experiences for our global clients. You’ll be the first point of contact for new clients, guiding them through our onboarding process and ensuring their accounts are set up accurately, efficiently, and in full compliance with industry regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Review, validate, and process client documentation in accordance with internal policies and regulatory standards
- Perform Know Your Customer (KYC), Know Your Business (KYB), and Due Diligence (DD) procedures on new accounts
- Analyze client submissions for completeness, accuracy, and compliance with regulatory obligations
- Respond promptly and professionally to client inquiries and onboarding requests
- Act as a central point of contact between clients and internal departments, including Compliance, Sales, Support, and Back Office
- Escalate unresolved issues to the appropriate teams and ensure timely resolution
- Provide operational support to Account Managers across multiple regions
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of client onboarding activities
- Proactively identify opportunities for process improvement within onboarding workflows
Person Specification:
- Proven experience in a client onboarding, account opening, or compliance operations role within financial services or a regulated industry
- Fluent in written and spoken English; additional languages are a strong advantage
- Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize effectively
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a customer-centric mindset
- Analytical and detail-oriented, with the ability to identify and resolve issues independently
- Proactive, self-motivated, and capable of taking full ownership of assigned tasks
- Tech-savvy and comfortable working with CRMs and digital document platforms
- Comfortable working remotely on a full-time basis (equipment provided)
- Willingness to work flexible hours as needed—no night shifts required
